This is a notice from NC State University Vet School:
We are starting a very exciting new Cavalier study (affectionately called the CAVALIER study) to investigate the genetics of diseases/conditions that affect Cavaliers. We will be looking at neuropathic pain, cardiac conditions, and hearing loss primarily, but we will also be keeping in-depth medical records to hopefully uncover more about the ailments that affect this breed.
We have gotten the opportunity to recruit 200 Cavaliers to participate in this study. I have included more information in the link below before the survey.
We are looking for Cavaliers 8 years of age and older, and the only real exclusion is if they have a severe, life-threatening condition that would affect their participation or affect our questionnaires.

[Note: There will not be a dinner and there is not a cost to attend this.]
